We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President to join our Corporate Actions team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL. In-office requirement is four days.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Experience in financial services or corporate actions preferred.
  • Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
  • May provide guidance to less experienced team members and, in some geographies, may have people management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mandatory and voluntary corporate action-related custody and accounting processing requirements, such as dividend payments, reorganization/proxy, bond redemption, and related transactions.
  • Manage and control high levels of risk and liability inherent in the various functions, including reconciliation activities, client reporting, and proration on transactions.
  • Meet with organizational units and teams to ensure corporate action events are being addressed appropriately, determine the impact of complex events, and disseminate information to investors and client accounts.
  • Research and respond to inquiries from internal business groups, depositories, agents, brokers, clients, Investment Managers, sub custodians, and/or custodians, while working across multiple systems to perform highly complex corporate action processing.
