About The Position

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Control to join our Depositary Receipts team. This role is located in Lake Mary FL, or New York, NY. In this role, you’ll make an impact by developing and implementing control frameworks, leveraging expertise in risk assessment and management. You will leverage the Platform control inventory (RCSA), ensuring it aligns with internal policies, regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX), and industry best practices; amend controls as required off the back of operating risk events. You will partner with the Platform Leadership Team consisting of Product Managers, Engineering, Operations and Corporate partners to ensure Pod development work aligns with our Risk and Control Framework. You will lead root-cause analyses for control failures or near-misses, developing and executing action plans to permanently remediate issues. You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify potential areas of improvement and drive initiatives to enhance control processes. You will escalate significant control deficiencies or emerging risks to the Platform Control Lead and senior stakeholders and drive timely remediation. You will execute control testing on areas of high risk to assess the design and effectiveness of internal controls. You will prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for senior management, summarizing control health, trends, and improvement initiatives. You will champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation by staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree or certification (e.g., CPA, CIA) preferred.
