About The Position

The Vice President position is within the Strategy and Operations Team of the Business Transformation department. This role operates at the intersection of strategy and execution — translating organizational ambiguity into clear direction, building the cross-functional alignment needed to drive meaningful outcomes, and ensuring the firm's most critical initiatives are delivered with rigor and impact. The Vice President serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and a visible champion of operational excellence across the enterprise.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in transformation, process improvement, project management, change management, and/or business analysis experience within the financial services industry, preferably in investment management
  • Experience in “Big 4” type organizations (or comparable), in consulting preferred
  • Track record in advisory/transformation, project management and process improvement
  • Solid analytical skills and ability to understand and resolve complex problems
  • Strong ability to quickly synthesize challenges and effectively tell a story through consumable materials
  • Experience with operating in the grey and comfortable establishing structure in a fluid, fast paced environment
  • Experience in working with and reviewing large sets of data including data manipulation in logical data structures and reconciliations
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Jira/Confluence, Monday.com, and Visio

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an advisor to business, technology, and third-party partners — bringing a strategic lens to complex, cross-functional challenges and shaping how priorities are set, sequenced, and resourced
  • Establish trusted relationships with department heads and senior stakeholders across the firm, acting as a credible voice on operational strategy and organizational alignment
  • Navigate competing perspectives across leadership to build durable consensus — adapting communication approach and framing to resonate with diverse audiences from executive to working-team level
  • Synthesize complex information from across the organization into executive-ready insights and recommendations, enabling faster and better-informed decision-making at the senior level
  • Lead a portfolio of high-visibility, firm-wide initiatives from inception through operationalization — maintaining end-to-end accountability for scope, timeline, deliverables, and strategic outcomes with minimal oversight
  • Develop and own core project artifacts including project charters, initiative roadmaps, and delivery plans — maintaining these as living documents that reflect current status and keep stakeholders aligned
  • Define and track key performance indicators that connect initiative delivery to measurable business outcomes, providing leadership with clear line of sight into progress and results
  • Plan and facilitate working sessions, steering committees, and cross-functional workshops — driving structured dialogue that moves initiatives forward and surfaces decisions that need to be made at the right level
  • Manage risk and issue resolution with urgency — identifying blockers early, escalating appropriately, and driving corrective action in partnership with business and technology leads
  • Gather, analyze, and draw conclusions from complex data and operational information — presenting findings clearly and concisely to a range of audiences in formats suited to their needs
  • Identify and remove structural barriers to execution — driving resolution of risks, issues, and dependencies across business and technology functions through senior-level engagement
  • Partner with business leaders to design and embed new operating models, processes, and ways of working — including developing documentation and delivering training to support sustainable adoption by BAU teams
  • Anticipate the downstream impacts of strategic decisions on people, process, and operations — proactively surfacing implications for HR, legal, corporate services, and other enabling functions
  • Act as a subject matter expert within the scope of assigned initiative responsibilities — developing deep fluency in the relevant processes, systems, or operating models to credibly guide stakeholders and challenge assumptions
