About The Position

Ontario Tech University seeks an exceptional Vice-President, Advancement to help shape the future of one of Canada’s most dynamic and differentiated universities. Reporting to the President and Vice-Chancellor and serving as a member of the senior leadership team, the Vice-President will play a pivotal role in advancing an institution uniquely poised for today and accelerating toward tomorrow—one defined by its commitment to Tech with a Conscience, where innovation, ethical leadership, and societal impact converge to address the opportunities and challenges of a rapidly changing world. Working collaboratively with the Chancellor, Vice-Presidents, Deans, faculty, staff, alumni, donors, and community partners, the Vice-President will champion Ontario Tech’s academic, research, and innovation priorities while elevating the university’s profile, influence, and philanthropic impact. The Vice-President will provide strategic leadership for an integrated advancement and alumni enterprise, with oversight spanning philanthropy and development, alumni engagement, stewardship, advancement operations, donor relations, and partnership development. Serving as a key ambassador for the university, the successful candidate will cultivate transformational relationships with major, principal, and emerging philanthropic partners while identifying new opportunities for philanthropic growth and community engagement.
