About The Position

Seneca Polytechnic is seeking a seasoned and credible leader to serve as its next Vice-President, Academic. This role requires a leader who is inspirational, decisive, creative, collaborative, and respectful. The Vice-President, Academic will provide leadership and strategic direction to Seneca’s academic, enrolment, and applied research teams. The position reports to the President and is a member of the senior executive team. The VPA will work collaboratively across the institution with a relentless focus on student success, academic quality, and Seneca's mission of providing a great polytechnic education to prepare graduates for great careers. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering in a constrained environment and will balance the need for change with respect for people and culture. Seneca Polytechnic is ambitious and entrepreneurial, offering career-focused degrees, professional master’s programs, diplomas, certificates, microcredentials, and system leadership in AI.

Requirements

• Master’s degree required.
• Leadership approach that supports Seneca’s strategic priorities.

Nice To Haves

• PhD preferred.
