This position provides executive leadership and direction for student services operations, programs, personnel, and strategic initiatives across Louisiana Delta Community College. The Vice Chancellor will lead the planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of student services policies, procedures, goals, and performance measures aligned with institutional priorities. This role oversees assigned functional areas which may include admissions, registrar, financial aid, advising partnerships, student conduct, student engagement, retention initiatives, dual enrollment, accessibility services, testing, counseling referrals, and other student support functions. The Vice Chancellor ensures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, accreditation expectations, and system policies related to student services operations and student support functions. They will develop and monitor division goals, key performance indicators, and service standards to improve student access, responsiveness, satisfaction, retention, and completion, utilizing student services data, institutional research, survey results, and operational metrics to assess performance, identify barriers, and implement improvements. Collaboration with academic and administrative leaders is key to aligning student support systems with instructional delivery, workforce programming, enrollment needs, and campus operations. The role advances a student-centered culture that promotes belonging, equitable access, timely service, and effective intervention for students with diverse needs and backgrounds. Additionally, the Vice Chancellor supervises and evaluates assigned administrators, directors, and staff, including recruitment, onboarding, professional development, coaching, and performance management. They will develop, manage, and monitor budgets for assigned areas and ensure efficient stewardship of institutional resources. Support for accreditation activities, institutional effectiveness reporting, audit response, policy development, and continuous improvement efforts related to student services is also required. The Vice Chancellor represents the College on local, regional, state, and national committees, partnerships, and initiatives related to student affairs and student success. Serving as a member of the executive leadership team, they contribute to institution-wide planning, policy development, risk management, and decision-making. Promoting collaboration across campuses and departments to ensure consistent service delivery, strong communication, and coordinated student support is essential. Other duties as assigned.
