About The Position

Vishay Electro Film is currently seeking a VIA Plating Operator. The Via Plating Operator is responsible for proper setup and operation of the via plating room. The Via Plating Operator will help the area meet its daily production obligations by adhering to quality and workmanship standards and producing work on-time and at the expected production rate. We’re looking for a reliable and motivated individual looking to start or continue growing a career in manufacturing.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Must have a continuous improvement attitude and strong attention to details.
Good hand/finger dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Will be required to wear clean room and PPE attire.
Must possess the ability to read and write to understand production documents, specifications, designs and accurately record required information.
Able to perform mathematic calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division using a learned method or calculator.
Must qualify as a “U.S. Person” according to U.S. federal law.

Previous experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operates equipment in performing etch/plating and sanding on ceramic substrates.
Read and interpret routine production specifications and drawings.
Performs equipment set up and calibration; makes necessary adjustments per applicable manufacturing procedures.
Performs routine preventative maintenance tasks.
Receiving and delivering chemicals throughout the facility.
Removes and disposes of waste chemicals.
Ability to read and interpret internal process instructions.
