About The Position

Untold Studios is seeking a VFX Supervisor to be a guiding force in all creative output, setting a benchmark for quality. The ideal candidate will be the creative voice through pitching, planning, and execution, ultimately responsible for the output of every project overseen. This role requires a history of delivering creative VFX work of the highest caliber and leading projects from beginning to end. The supervisor will have a deep working knowledge of industry-standard software, provide creative and technical support to teams, and ensure the studio remains at the forefront of technical innovation. As a respected leader, the candidate will keep themselves and their teams highly motivated, be solutions-driven, and excel at analyzing and solving problems. Untold Studios is committed to supporting ongoing development and will work closely with the supervisor to establish a personal progression plan, ensuring they are never on their own.

Requirements

Deep working knowledge of a range of industry standard software
Ability to provide creative and technical support to teams
Solutions driven and love analysing and solving problems
Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time efficiently
Ability to listen to and interpret client comments and then address feedback in a constructive and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

Managing all aspects of the creative process from bidding, pitching, methodologies, scheduling through to execution.
Taking ownership of your workload from the start of a project through to the deadline.
Working closely with Producers and Coordinators to manage schedules and budgets.
Managing teams of varying size.
Leading multiple projects concurrently.
The ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time efficiently.
Collaborating with Clients and Directors to create an environment that breeds the highest quality work.
Effectively managing expectations both internally and client side.
Creating opportunities to establish and nurture client relationships.
The ability to listen to and interpret client comments and then address feedback in a constructive and efficient manner.
Providing on-set supervision; assisting the Director, advising on approach and gathering all reference/data needed.
Mentoring artists through a project and beyond.
Driving recruitment by sourcing talent, reviewing CVs, interviewing and evaluating job descriptions.
Being an ambassador for Untold Studios, through attending industry events, producing publications, public speaking and outreach opportunities.
