The Role You will be a guiding force for all aspects of lighting and rendering at Untold Studios. You will set and maintain the benchmark for quality and be a creative voice through the planning and execution of work across all projects. You will develop and lead the lighting and rendering team. You will be ultimately responsible for lighting and rendering across every project at Untold Studios. You have a history of delivering outstanding work of the highest calibre and have a deep working knowledge of a range of industry standard software. Using your experience you will provide creative and technical support to your team. You will work alongside the Pipeline Supervisor to help establish and maintain efficient lighting and rendering workflows whilst ensuring that we are at the forefront of technical innovation As a respected leader you keep yourself and your team highly motivated. Responsibilities

Oversight of lighting and rendering at Untold Studios.
Managing the performance and career progression of each member of the lighting team.
Maintaining a working knowledge of a range of rendering software and shader development.
Developing robust production methodologies and ensuring consistency.
Defining a look for shots and sequences.
Creating easy to understand template scenes for other artists to use.
Managing teams on projects of varying sizes.
Troubleshooting, diagnostics and optimisation of rendering setups.
Continually driving recruitment in partnership with Recruitment Manager and Operations Manager.
Working closely with Producers and Coordinators to manage schedules.
On set supervision as required.
Creating and nurturing an environment that breeds the highest quality work.
Developing training material.
Being an ambassador for Untold Studios, through attending industry events, producing publications, public speaking and outreach opportunities.
