Homa is a global mobile game developer and publisher. This role is for a Lead VFX Artist joining a highly ambitious team working on a new mobile RPG game currently in active development. The team is lean, offering high ownership and impact. The Lead VFX Artist will play a key role in shaping the game’s visual quality, player experience, and overall game feel from an early stage. This position reports directly to the Art Director and collaborates closely with developers, UI/UX, and fellow artists in an iterative and feedback-driven environment. The mission is to shape the visual identity and game feel of a new mobile RPG title by owning the creation and implementation of high-quality gameplay VFX that make combat impactful, rewards satisfying, and every player interaction feel polished and memorable. The ideal candidate is a Senior VFX Artist with strong mobile gaming experience, a deep understanding of gameplay readability, impact, timing, and visual feedback systems, combining artistic excellence, strong Unity implementation skills, production pragmatism, and a collaborative mindset. They should be comfortable working fast in a live production environment and thrive in small, ambitious teams with high ownership and direct impact.
