As Canada's trusted safety partner since 1935, we work alongside customers coast to coast to help ensure people return home safely at the end of every shift. 14 Days On / 14 Days Off | Flights & Housing Covered Why This Role Stands Out Fly-in, fly-out to Fort McMurray 14 on / 14 off – with real time off 12-hour shifts (compressed schedule) Travel + housing fully covered (or allowance for locals) Competitive pay, RRSP match, Profit sharing and other benefits What the Role Involves Inspect, test, repair, and maintain vehicle fire suppression systems on heavy and off-road equipment Service fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, alarms, and safety systems Handle scheduled & emergency service calls on-site Complete digital reports (iPad) with clear notes and recommendations Work directly with customers – keep them informed and safe Support inventory and maintain service readiness Follow and promote strong safety practices every day What You Bring Experience with vehicle fire suppression systems (VFSS) (strong asset) Mechanical background (heavy equipment, automotive, or similar) Basic electrical & troubleshooting skills Comfortable reading schematics and manuals Confident using iPads / mobile tech Strong communication & customer-facing mindset Valid driver’s license & clean abstract Able to pass background & drug & alcohol testing Physical & Site Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs Work in tight spaces & at heights on large equipment Comfortable on uneven terrain and long site days Sit/drive for extended periods Pass ongoing site access testing (client requirement) What You Get Flights & accommodations covered (FIFO) Extended health, dental, vision & EAP RRSP match & profit sharing A team that prioritizes safety, quality, and each other Application & Hiring Process Levitt-Safety may use AI-enabled tools to support the screening and assessment of applications. Requirements

  • Experience with vehicle fire suppression systems (VFSS) (strong asset)
  • Mechanical background (heavy equipment, automotive, or similar)
  • Basic electrical & troubleshooting skills
  • Comfortable reading schematics and manuals
  • Confident using iPads / mobile tech
  • Strong communication & customer-facing mindset
  • Valid driver’s license & clean abstract
  • Able to pass background & drug & alcohol testing
  • Lift up to 50 lbs
