Veterinary Technology Program - Adjunct Faculty (Pool)
About The Position
Mount Wachusett Community College (MWCC) is seeking qualified and competent experts to join their Veterinary Technology Program as Adjunct Faculty. This is an open pool position for the 2025-2026 academic years, meaning applications will be kept on file and consulted when a need arises. Adjunct faculty are responsible for providing students with a high-quality learning environment, utilizing their expertise in classrooms, laboratories, and online platforms. These are part-time, non-benefited positions. Applicants are encouraged to indicate their availability by completing the Adjunct Faculty Questionnaire. Requirements
- Must be a current licensed veterinarian
- Must hold a DVM from an AVMA accredited program
- Must have a minimum of three years in clinical practice
- Evidence of competence in the area of instruction
- Maintain expertise appropriate to teaching responsibilities
Nice To Haves
- 3-5 years teaching experience in a community college
Responsibilities
- Instruction in both traditional and non-traditional learning modes
- Instructional preparation
- Assessment of student performance, including submission of final grades in a timely fashion
- Availability to students by appointment when mutually convenient
- Attendance at not more than one faculty meeting per session
- Other duties as required
