About The Position

Sycamore Veterinary Hospital is expanding and seeking both full-time and part-time Veterinary Technicians to join their growing practice. For over 40 years, Sycamore Veterinary Hospital has provided compassionate care to pets and their families. They are looking for technicians who thrive in a collaborative environment where learning and patient advocacy are prioritized. The practice uses modern equipment and follows Fear Free principles to ensure a positive experience for patients, clients, and team members.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience in a veterinary setting
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to support teammates
• Interest in continuing education and skill development

Nice To Haves

• Surgical experience is welcome but not required. We are happy to train motivated candidates who are eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient histories and vital signs
• Collect laboratory samples and perform diagnostic testing
• Assist with radiographs and treatment procedures
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Educate clients on treatment plans and preventive care
• Support veterinarians in delivering exceptional patient care
