About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician with strong dentistry and surgery skills. This hands-on, high-skill role focuses primarily on dental and surgical procedures. The technician will also provide clinical and laboratory support, collaborate with doctors and fellow technicians, and communicate with clients about treatments, medications, and post-operative care. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM, with some flexibility.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of veterinary technician experience.
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential required.
• Strong dental and surgical technician skills required.
• Proficiency in laboratory work, IV catheter placement, blood draws, injections, and anesthesia.
• Fast, efficient, detail-oriented, and confident in a high-skill environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental and surgical procedures, including dental cleanings, x-rays, and extractions under doctor supervision.
• Place IV catheters, draw blood, administer injections, monitor anesthesia, prepare patients, and assist with recovery.
• Perform laboratory work efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
• Work closely with doctors and fellow technicians to support a smooth, positive workflow.
• Communicate with clients about treatments, medications, and post-operative care.
