About The Position
Mission Veterinary Emergency and Specialty hospital is adding a Veterinary Technician to our high performing Internal Medicine team! This role involves working with a state-of-the-art facility and a team of board-certified specialists. You will have exposure to a diverse and stimulating caseload, employ the most advanced imaging and monitoring tools, and tap into the expertise of our board-certified specialists. The hospital prides itself on a welcoming environment where team members feel safe to learn and seek guidance from each other. Tenured technicians mentor and guide newer technicians, supporting and encouraging each other and celebrating wins. There is dedicated learning and development time, with an expectation to train, coach, mentor, and teach after gaining knowledge.
Requirements
- Veterinary Technician or experienced Veterinary Assistant.
- Outstanding client service skills.
- Excellent patient care skills.
- Ability to work as a team.
- Ability to remain composed during stressful and emotional situations.
- Understanding of clear, effective communication among clients and team members.
- Dedication to making a difference in the lives of patients and their families.
- Desire to utilize full skill set while simultaneously learning new & advanced techniques.
- Weekend Availability is Required.
