Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, surgeries, and procedures
Provide safe and effective patient handling and restraint
Support preventative care, vaccines, and client education
Provide attentive induction, monitoring, and recovery of surgical patients
Support emergency and surgical care, including IV catheter placement and intubation
Obtain diagnostics, including radiographs, phlebotomy, sample collection, and in-house lab work
Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and teammates
Support a positive hospital flow, even on busy days
