About The Position

St. Charles Veterinary Clinic is hiring an experienced or credentialed Veterinary Technician for their 24-hour veterinary facility. This role is part of the after-hours team, focusing on emergency and overnight care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The clinic is dedicated to providing continuous, high-quality care to its patients, and the after-hours team is critical to this mission. The position offers opportunities to work with a wide variety of cases and advanced patient care, with a strong emphasis on technical skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional client service, including phone communication and discharge instructions
Triage incoming patients and assist with emergency care
Perform technical skills including phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, and lab work
Take radiographs and administer medications and injections
Monitor sedated and anesthetized patients
Care for hospitalized patients and support overnight treatment plans
