About The Position

Animal Emergency Clinic of the High Country is growing and looking to add a Veterinary Assistant or Technician to our ER family! At Animal Emergency Clinic, no two days are ever the same. Requirements

Compassion, reliability, and strong work ethic
Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Interest in emergency and critical care medicine
Veterinary experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate

Responsibilities

Assist doctors and technicians with patient care
Triage and intake emergency patients
Draw blood and place IV catheters
Monitor hospitalized patients
Administer medications and treatments
Take radiographs and patient vitals
Enter charges and help maintain patient flow
Provide compassionate client communication during stressful situations
