About The Position
Veterinary Medical Center of The Woodlands is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join its compassionate, collaborative team in Spring, Texas. The AAHA-accredited, well-established practice delivers exceptional medical care while aiming to create a low-stress, positive experience for pets and their people. Fear Free techniques are incorporated into everyday patient care, with an emphasis on gentle handling, patient advocacy, and individualized care plans. The hospital provides care seven days a week and treats a wide variety of patients, including exotic animals. The Veterinary Technician works alongside experienced veterinarians and support staff committed to high-quality medicine and client education. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, confident in technical skills, passionate about patient care, and dedicated to high standards of veterinary medicine. Requirements
- Active Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential in Texas is required for eligibility for the stated sign-on bonus.
- Detail-oriented, confident in technical skills, passionate about patient care, and dedicated to high standards of veterinary medicine.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care using Fear Free techniques, gentle handling, patient advocacy, and individualized care plans.
- Work alongside veterinarians and support staff to deliver high-quality veterinary medicine and educate clients.
