Requirements

  • Must love animals and care about people
  • Experience working as a veterinary technician in an established practice
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail
  • Eagerness to learn, show initiative, and understand vaccine protocols
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

  • CVT graduate (AVMA-accredited program) or equivalent veterinary technician/assistant experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate patient and client care while assisting primary care veterinarians in the exam room and on the treatment floor.
  • Take radiographs with proper positioning.
  • Perform clinical laboratory tests.
  • Administer medications and draw blood.
  • Use humane restraint techniques in a variety of situations.
