Overnight Veterinary Technician - Emergency
About The Position
BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring a Veterinary Technician for an overnight position. This full-time role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate enjoys patient care and thrives in a fast-paced, challenging, interesting, and collaborative environment. As a Veterinary Technician, you will be responsible for triaging patients, obtaining histories, identifying patients at risk for arrest and initiating CPR, placing IVC's and advanced catheters, and monitoring ventilator cases. You will work alongside skilled technicians and assistants to provide excellent, advanced medicine and will have a passion for mentoring and training coworkers. The role offers gratification in nursing critically ill patients back to health and reuniting them with their pet parents.
Requirements
- Unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S. and not require future sponsorship for an employment-based green card.

Responsibilities
- Triage and obtain patient history
- Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
- Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines
- Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
- Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
- Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers
- Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
