About The Position

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on veterinary experience in a clinical setting.
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, or CVT) in Georgia.
• Confidence in surgery, anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, and diagnostics.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Commitment to low-stress, Fear-Free handling.
• Comfort with technology, adaptability, and motivation to grow.

Nice To Haves

• Fear-Free certification; Petfolk will pay for certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgeries and dental procedures, and monitor anesthesia.
• Perform venipuncture, place IV catheters, and conduct lab diagnostics.
• Educate pet parents with compassion and clarity.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient histories.
• Use low-stress and Fear-Free techniques in every interaction.
• Mentor assistants and foster teamwork and excellence.
