Requirements

Previous Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician experience preferred
Experience administering medications and handling patients safely
Strong technical and patient care skills
Excellent communication and client service abilities
Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the workday

Nice To Haves

CVT/LVT credentials are a plus but not required
Dedication to continued learning and professional growth

Responsibilities

Safely handle and restrain patients during examinations and procedures
Support preventive care, vaccinations, and patient wellness services
Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical procedures
Place IV catheters and provide preoperative patient care
Obtain diagnostics including radiographs, phlebotomy, sample collection, and in-house laboratory testing
Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and team members
Maintain accurate patient records and client communications
Refill medications and review instructions with pet owners
Assist doctors and technicians with treatments and procedures
Maintain clean, organized kennel, laundry, and treatment areas
Restock supplies and support overall hospital operations
Provide a calm, caring presence for pets and their families
