Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience as a Technician/Assistant
  • Solid nursing skills
  • Motivated team player
  • Effective multi-tasker
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Credentials (CVT, RVT, LVT)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with exotics is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Help pets and their families live healthier lives.

  • Utilize skills in physical examinations and patient assessment.
  • Monitor anesthesia.
  • Perform surgical preparation and assisting.
  • Conduct dentistry procedures.
  • Perform radiology.
  • Conduct laboratory work.
  • Perform venipuncture.
  • Perform catheter placement.
  • Manage pharmacy.
  • Oversee patient recovery.
  • Provide compassionate care of hospitalized animals.
  • Treat, monitor well and critically-ill patients.
  • Educate clients.
