Petfolk Midlothian Pet Care Center is opening in November 2026 and is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician! Help Us Redefine the Future of Pet Care. Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on veterinary experience in a clinical setting
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT) in the state of Virginia
• Confident in surgery, anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, and diagnostics
• Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset
• Comfortable with technology, adaptable, and motivated to grow

Nice To Haves

• Certification in Fear Free handling (certification a plus, and we’ll pay for it)

Responsibilities

• Assisting in surgeries, dental procedures, and anesthesia monitoring
• Performing venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and lab diagnostics
• Educating pet parents with compassion and clarity
• Ensuring accurate medical documentation and patient histories
• Promoting low-stress and Fear-Free techniques in every interaction
• Mentoring assistants and fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence
