About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician for a hands-on, high-skill role focused primarily on dental and surgical procedures. The position involves supporting doctors with clinical procedures, laboratory work, anesthesia monitoring, patient preparation and recovery, recordkeeping, and client communication. The ideal candidate is efficient, detail-oriented, confident in a high-skill environment, and works well with doctors and fellow technicians.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of veterinary technician experience.
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential required.
• Strong dental and surgical technician skills required.
• Proficiency in laboratory work, IV catheter placement, blood draws, injections, and anesthesia.
• Must be fast, efficient, detail-oriented, and confident in a high-skill environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental and surgical work, including dental cleanings, x-rays, and extractions under doctor supervision.
• Place IV catheters, draw blood, administer injections, and monitor anesthesia.
• Prepare patients for procedures, assist with recovery, and maintain detailed, accurate patient records.
• Perform laboratory work efficiently and accurately.
• Work closely with doctors and fellow technicians to maintain a smooth, positive workflow.
• Communicate with clients about treatments, medications, and post-operative care.
