About The Position
Washington County Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full-time experienced veterinary technician-assistant to join their team. They are a modern facility providing exceptional veterinary care. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with animal handling and restraint, rooming patients, assisting in surgery and surgical recovery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, have experience with x-ray and proper positioning, using laboratory equipment, and be a positive and supportive team player. Requirements
- Experience working as a Veterinary Technician
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
- Knowledge of animal behavior and healthcare
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
