About The Position

Care Animal Clinic is seeking a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to provide compassionate patient care and help deliver high-quality veterinary services. The clinic offers wellness care, advanced diagnostics, surgery, urgent care, and treatments such as prolotherapy. Team members work with a diverse caseload, modern equipment, and experienced veterinary professionals in a collaborative environment that supports learning and career growth. The hospital is open seven days a week. The role involves assisting with examinations, treatments, diagnostics, and medical procedures according to the employee’s experience and training. The technician helps maintain accurate patient histories and medical records, communicates patient information to veterinarians and coworkers, and supports efficient hospital operations. The position calls for professionalism, sound judgment, initiative, and a commitment to a clean, organized, and safe hospital.

Requirements

Confidence working around animals and interacting with clients in a veterinary hospital setting.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn veterinary software and programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ability to stay organized and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a supportive team culture.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of veterinary experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to patients and a positive experience for clients.
Assist with patient examinations, treatments, diagnostics, and medical procedures based on experience and training.

Safely handle and restrain animals during examinations and procedures.
