About The Position

Fox Creek Veterinary Hospital at Wildwood is hiring full-time Veterinary Technicians to provide skilled care to patients and exceptional service to clients. The ideal candidate has experience in animal care, client communication, and veterinary procedures, and is passionate about improving the lives of pets and their owners.

The hospital operates seven days a week, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Candidates must have open availability, including evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. Shift differentials are offered for eligible overnight and weekend hours. Reliability and a team-oriented attitude are essential.

Fox Creek Veterinary Hospital was founded in October 2000 to provide excellent care using modern facilities and equipment. The team is committed to continuing education and compassionate care. The AAHA-accredited practice treats canine, feline, equine, and pocket pets and aims to foster an inclusive culture.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of veterinary experience.
• Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
• Knowledge of common disease states and ability to alert veterinarians to changes in patient conditions.
• Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.
• Open availability, including evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliability and a team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians with patient care, examinations, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
• Safely and compassionately handle and restrain animals.
• Communicate clearly with clients, including providing care instructions and patient status updates.
• Perform technical duties such as laboratory work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication dispensing.
• Keep examination rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready.
• Follow hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
