About The Position

Fox Creek Veterinary Hospital at Wildwood is hiring full-time Veterinary Technicians to provide skilled patient care and exceptional client service. The ideal candidate has experience in animal care, client communication, and veterinary procedures, and is passionate about improving the lives of pets and their owners. The hospital treats canine, feline, equine, and pocket pets and is an AAHA-accredited practice focused on compassionate care, continuing education, and modern facilities and equipment. This full-time position requires open availability. The hospital operates seven days a week from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and candidates must be available for evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. Shift differentials are offered for eligible overnight and weekend hours. Pay is $26.00–$32.00 per hour, based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

At least 2 years of veterinary experience.
Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
Knowledge of common disease states and ability to alert veterinarians to changes in patient conditions.
Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.
Open availability, including evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Reliability and a team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

Support veterinarians with patient care, examinations, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
Safely and compassionately handle and restrain animals.
Communicate clearly with clients, including providing care instructions and status updates.
Perform technical duties such as laboratory work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.
Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication dispensing.
Keep examination rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready.
Follow hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
