About The Position
Sierra Pet Clinic is hiring an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician for a full-time position. This role involves safe and effective patient handling and restraint, knowledge of preventative care and vaccines, obtaining diagnostics (radiographs, phlebotomy, sample collection), performing in-house lab work, and professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff. Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions is also a key responsibility. The clinic is a recently renovated, team-oriented, four-doctor practice located by the Truckee River in the Tahoe National Forest, emphasizing a positive clinic culture, work-life balance, and professional growth.
