Animal Medical Center of the Lowcountry in beautiful Beaufort, South Carolina, is seeking an experienced or Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our surgical team. Requirements

  • Two years of experience or a valid veterinary technician license
  • Attention to detail and great organizational skills
  • Time management and ability to multitask
  • Desire to never stop learning

Responsibilities

  • Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
  • Attentive induction, monitoring, and recovery of surgical patients
  • Perioperative and surgical care - including IV catheter placement and intubation
  • Obtaining diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy, and sample collection, and performing in-house lab work
  • Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff
  • Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions
