About The Position
Feline exclusive practice in Philadelphia, PA seeking an experienced, compassionate veterinary technician to join our team. The Cat Doctor has been proudly serving our community since 1983 and is a full-service feline-only hospital dedicated to providing quality medicine and care for our client's' cats. We strive to offer the highest quality feline health care in a warm and welcoming environment, recognizing the unique character of every cat and treating all cats with dignity and compassion. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated, full-time highly experienced veterinary technician/assistant or licensed veterinary technician to join our small but talented team. Requirements
- An experienced Veterinary Technician or Assistant with 2+ years in practice.
- Confidence in blood draws, IV placement, anesthesia monitoring and surgical support.
- A dependable and adaptable team player who brings energy and positivity to work.
- A strong communicator who collaborates well with your team and clients.

Responsibilities
- Assist in patient care, surgical procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and diagnostics
- Support our DVMs during appointments, exams, treatments, and procedures
- Perform hands-on tasks including drawing blood, catheter placement, and injections, take radiographs and performs EKGs.
- Communicate clearly with clients on treatment plans, patient updates, and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with all team members to promote hospital efficiency and workflow
