About The Position

Leander Veterinary Clinic is a locally owned, independent veterinary practice with five doctors and a modern 8,000-square-foot facility. They are looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Veterinary Technician with at least one year of experience who enjoys working with animals, thrives in a team environment, and wants to continue developing their skills. The clinic values a great attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. They offer opportunities to learn from experienced veterinarians, build confidence, and develop technical skills in a busy, collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of veterinary technician experience required
• Strong animal handling and restraint skills
• Experience assisting with veterinary procedures and patient care
• Familiarity with laboratory testing, radiology, dentistry, and surgical procedures
• Friendly, compassionate, and professional with clients and coworkers
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
• Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to jump in wherever needed
• Eagerness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AVImark is a plus, but not required
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring, IV catheter placement, and advanced technical procedures is a plus, but we're happy to provide training to help you expand your skills.
• Licensed Veterinary Technicians are encouraged to apply, but licensure is not required!
