About The Position

Fox Creek Veterinary Hospital is hiring a full-time Veterinary Technician to provide skilled patient care and exceptional client service. The role supports veterinarians with exams, surgery, anesthesia, recovery, and other technical procedures, while helping maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked hospital environment. The ideal candidate has veterinary and animal-care experience, communicates well with clients, and is passionate about improving the lives of pets and their owners.

The hospital operates seven days a week from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Candidates must have open availability, including evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. Shift differentials are offered for eligible overnight and weekend hours.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of veterinary experience.
• Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
• Knowledge of common disease states and ability to alert veterinarians to changes in patient conditions.
• Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.
• Open availability, including evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians with patient care, examinations, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
• Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion.
• Communicate clearly with clients, including providing care instructions and status updates.
• Perform technical duties such as laboratory work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with dispensing medications.
• Keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready.
• Follow hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
