About The Position

Austin Veterinary Diagnostic Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join their growing team. Located in Southwest Austin, the hospital offers comprehensive veterinary services, including routine and advanced care, all under one roof. They pride themselves on their ability to conduct most procedures in-house, utilizing advanced diagnostic technology such as CT scan, ultrasound, endoscope/arthroscope equipment, a CO2 surgical laser, and dental X-ray. The hospital has a long-standing reputation, serving the Austin area for over 45 years, and is described as a fun, dedicated family passionate about providing high-quality veterinary medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians with exams, surgery, and anesthesia monitoring
  • Perform diagnostic procedures including lab work and advanced imaging
  • Provide high-quality nursing care and patient monitoring
  • Administer medications and ensure accurate treatment protocols
  • Support client communication and education
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment environment
