Park Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician who has a passion for surgery, anesthesia, and exceptional patient care. Requirements

Active Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license in North Carolina
Previous clinical veterinary technician experience (1+ years preferred)
Experience or strong interest in anesthesia and surgery
Ability to multitask in a busy, team-oriented hospital
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Compassionate approach to patients and clients alike

Responsibilities

Prepare patients, instruments, and operating rooms for procedures
Assist with anesthetic induction, intubation, monitoring, and recovery
Maintain detailed anesthesia records throughout procedures
Ensure surgical equipment is cleaned, maintained, and ready for use
Support veterinarians during a variety of surgical procedures
Assist veterinarians with appointments, diagnostics, and treatments
Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, laboratory sample collection, and radiographs
Monitor hospitalized patients and provide nursing care
Assist with urgent care and triage cases as needed
Educate clients on medications, post-operative care, and treatment plans
Maintain complete and accurate medical records
Promote a clean, organized, and efficient treatment area
