About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring an exceptional Veterinary Technician to join their team. This is a full-time position for a Critical Care Veterinary Technician in the ICU. The ideal candidate enjoys patient care and working in a fast-paced, challenging, interesting, and collaborative environment. The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S. and not require future sponsorship for an employment-based green card.

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
• Work along side other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
• Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
