Requirements

  • Is a CVT/LVT (preferred) or has at least 2 years of Veterinary Technician experience
  • Is confident with anesthetic monitoring
  • Understands lab work, anatomy, physiology, and normal vs. abnormal values
  • Loves mentoring and supporting veterinary assistants
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, emergency environment
  • Communicates clearly and stays organized under pressure
  • Delivers exceptional client service - even on tough days
  • Brings honesty, integrity, positivity, and a sense of humor to work
  • Wants to keep learning, growing, and yes - having fun
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • All current positions require the ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional fluency in other languages is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Triage patients and help determine next steps
  • Run lab diagnostics and prep samples like a pro
  • Flex those medical math skills (you’ve got this!)
  • Place IV catheters and manage fluid therapy
  • Monitor patients under anesthesia and keep immaculate records
  • Assess pain and advocate fiercely for your patients
  • Administer medications and assist with treatments
  • Educate clients on at-home care with confidence and compassion
  • Provide exceptional care to hospitalized patients
  • Help keep the hospital clean, stocked, and running smoothly
  • Jump in to assist with phones, check-ins, and anything else the team needs
