About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician with strong dental and surgical abilities. This hands-on, high-skill role primarily focuses on dental and surgical procedures. The technician will provide clinical and laboratory support, collaborate with doctors and fellow technicians, and communicate with clients about treatments, medications, and post-operative care. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM, with some flexibility.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of veterinary technician experience.
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential required.
• Strong dental and surgical technician skills.
• Proficiency in laboratory work, IV catheter placement, blood draws, injections, and anesthesia.
• Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and thoroughly, with attention to detail and confidence in a high-skill environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings, dental X-rays, and extractions under doctor supervision.
• Place IV catheters, draw blood, administer injections, monitor anesthesia, prepare patients, and assist with recovery.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
• Perform laboratory work efficiently and accurately.
• Work closely with doctors and fellow technicians to maintain a smooth, positive workflow.
• Communicate with clients about treatments, medications, and post-operative care.
