Requirements

  • A minimum of two years of veterinary hospital experience preferred
  • Strong animal handling and restraint skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • A self-motivated, dependable, and positive attitude
  • The ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassion and empathy for both animals and their owners
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality patient care
  • The ability to work independently while supporting the team
  • Weekend availability
  • A willingness to continue learning and growing as a veterinary professional

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians with patient exams, treatments, and surgical procedures
  • Administer medications and vaccines as directed
  • Monitor patient vitals before, during, and after procedures
  • Provide attentive nursing care during patient recovery
  • Perform diagnostic testing and assist with laboratory procedures
  • Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment areas
  • Safely handle and restrain patients using appropriate techniques
  • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
  • Communicate professionally with clients and educate them about their pets’ care
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide exceptional patient care
