About The Position

Priority Pet Urgent Care is opening a brand-new, state-of-the-art urgent care hospital in Palm Beach, FL, in November 2026. The hospital will be open Thursday - Monday from 3 pm to 11 pm. Priority Pet Urgent Care aims to provide convenient, high-quality care for pets with urgent medical needs while creating an exceptional experience for clients and team members. The mission is to provide easy access to quality veterinary care while ensuring every client knows their pet is our priority. Requirements

  • 2+ years professional experience preferred but not required
  • CVT highly preferred, but not required for this position
  • Consistent punctuality and reliability in adherence to scheduled shifts
  • Excellent client communication and medical record management skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of veterinary procedures, preventative care, and hospital operations
  • Expertise in safe and low-stress animal restraint techniques
  • Proficiency in various sample collection methods, including blood, urine, fecal, and skin specimens
  • Experience in radiographic positioning and image capture
  • Experience in anesthesia administration and surgical monitoring
  • Commitment to professional ethics and continuous learning
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to animal-related hazards

Responsibilities

  • Animal restraint
  • Triage of incoming patients
