Harris Boulevard Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. We are a well-established, two-doctor small animal and non-avian exotic practice with a strong commitment to client education, preventive care, and exceptional patient service. Requirements

  • Previous veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience required
  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credential preferred
  • Experience with anesthesia monitoring and patient care
  • Strong laboratory and radiology skills
  • Knowledge of pharmacy procedures and medical record management
  • Excellent communication and client service abilities
  • Positive attitude and strong team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to recognize priorities and work independently when needed

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
  • Perform pharmacy duties and medication preparation
  • Collect laboratory samples and perform in-house laboratory testing
  • Obtain and process diagnostic radiographs
  • Monitor and maintain anesthetized patients during procedures
  • Provide attentive patient care and nursing support
  • Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation
  • Communicate professionally with clients regarding patient care and treatment plans
  • Support daily hospital operations and workflow efficiency
