About The Position

Northpointe Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join their compassionate team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll make a meaningful impact in the lives of pets and their families every day. The hospital is a community favorite and AAFP certified Cat Friendly Practice in Tomball, Texas. The team has been providing routine and emergency medical and surgical services to small animals in the community for years. The three doctors are supported by a talented and fully utilized technician team, which allows them to focus on medicine and surgery. They are guided by a culture-centered Medical Director and are proud to have excellent team longevity.

Requirements

1+ years of veterinary assistant, animal care, kennel, or related role preferred
Proficiency in assisting with exams, treatments, and outpatient procedures
Compassionate, professional communication with clients and team members
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and restrain patients safely throughout the workday
Commitment to exceptional patient care and client service

Responsibilities

Assisting veterinarians during exams, treatments, surgical procedures, and dentistry
Maintaining accurate medical records and treatment documentation
Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately
Building positive client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service
Maintaining clean, organized, and fully prepared exam rooms, treatment areas, and procedural spaces
