Requirements
- Veterinary Technician experience required (3 + years)
- Knows how to work IDEXX machines in-house
- Team player with a positive and professional attitude
Nice To Haves
- Certification/Licensure (CVT, LVT, or RVT) preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of animal handling and restraint techniques
- Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring and surgical support preferred
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Experience with Avimark is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments
- Safely restrain animals for procedures
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and sample collection
- Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgical procedures
- Take and develop radiographs (X-rays)
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
- Provide clear client communication and discharge instructions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment and hospital areas
- Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment
