We are looking to hire an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team! Requirements

1+ years of veterinary experience
Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
Passion for working with animals and their owners
Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills

Licensed Veterinary Technician (preferred)
Experience rooming patients
Surgical assisting experience and knowledge of equipment used
Drawing blood and running bloodwork
Knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning
Experience with proper animal handling and restraint

Responsibilities

Rooming patients
Surgical assisting
Drawing blood and running bloodwork
Knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning
Proper animal handling and restraint
Client education
Obtaining accurate and thorough medical histories
Taking TPR (Temperature, Pulse, Respiration)
Assisting doctor and other technical staff with restraint
Blood draws (cephalic, saphenous, and jugular)
Placing IV catheters
Digital radiology including positioning
Dentistry (scaling, polishing, anesthetic monitoring)
Anesthesia (induction, intubation, monitoring, aseptic technique)
Laboratory skills such as ear and fecal cytology; Idexx laboratory equipment
Excellent client communication/education
Cross-trained with reception & kenneling experience
