VETERINARY TECHNICIANS, Division of Comparative Medicine (DCM), provide clinical veterinary support, colony management services, and technical expertise for laboratory animals. This role supports high standards of animal health, welfare, and research integrity by performing clinical observations, providing treatments, sample collection for health monitoring, technical procedures, and study-support activities in accordance with approved protocols, SOPs and applicable regulations. The position works under the supervision of DCM management and veterinary staff and is expected to carry out assigned responsibilities independently while keeping supervisors, clinical veterinarians, and researchers informed of animal health concerns, project status and areas of responsibility. Will provide clinical veterinary support for laboratory animals, primarily rodents, under the direction of DCM supervisors, clinical veterinarians, and veterinary technical leadership.
