Requirements

  • Previous veterinary technician experience required
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for patient care and continuous learning

Nice To Haves

  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician preferred but not required
  • Strong technical and clinical skills including patient care and anesthesia monitoring preferred
  • Fear Free or low stress handling experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians with patient exams, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures
  • Prepare patients for surgery and monitor anesthesia and vital signs during procedures
  • Provide attentive nursing care for hospitalized patients including monitoring, medication administration, and treatments
  • Place IV catheters, perform venipuncture, and support fluid therapy
  • Operate diagnostic equipment including digital radiography and in-house laboratory analyzers
  • Support dental procedures including anesthesia monitoring and dental radiography
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners
