This role involves working closely with veterinarians and the support team to provide comprehensive care from patient intake to discharge, ensuring a positive experience for both patients and clients.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician
  • Confidence in patient handling and basic veterinary technical skills—or a willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Triage patients and obtain thorough histories, vitals, and patient assessments
  • Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures
  • Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care throughout each patient’s visit
  • Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
  • Educate clients with compassion, clarity, and confidence
  • Accurately document patient care and treatments in the medical record
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and teammates to support efficient, consistent patient care
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional growth
