Requirements

  • Veterinary Technician credentials or previous Veterinary Assistant experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
  • Provide compassionate patient care and nursing support
  • Practice Fear Free and low-stress handling techniques
  • Support surgical and dental procedures as directed
  • Anticipate the needs of veterinarians to promote efficiency and teamwork
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed
  • Educate clients on patient care and treatment recommendations
  • Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation
  • Support daily hospital operations and patient care needs
